After 20 years of my friends going Grouse hunting in Michigan with me, we decided to go to South Dakota pheasent hunting. I still went to Michigan for a few days on my own, but as you can see we had a great time in SD.

Mike-Roe > This is the view looking out the front of the lodge.

Mike-Roe > We didn't suffer. This is the 'game room' with the dining hall in the back where it say's saloon. The 2 rooms to the left are Walter and Scot's bedrooms.

Mike-Roe > Our 1st day hunt. We finished at about 11 am and had our limit of 5 birds each.

Mike-Roe > The 1st day they let us take our dogs to the field. They placed 2 of our morning birds in the brush to see if the our dogs could find them and retrieve them. Dutchess found both birds but Henry did the best on retrieving.
