Maine 2007 Vacation - Page 3 - Mike-Roe's Photos

Well we finally got a chance to take the vacation to Maine that we were suppose to take last year. We took Roe's father with us along with our 2 cats and Dutchess our dog. The weather wasn't the best the 1st half of the trip but it finally cleared up the last 3 days. We spent the 1st part near Kennebunkport and did see Bush 41's compound, then we finished up spending the 2nd part near Bar Harbor.

Mike-Roe > This is a new campground that just opened the month before. The grey is actually a 'grass' plug mulch that was just starting to grow.

Mike-Roe > This was the view from the back of the trailer. You are looking across the bay at Arcadia National Park.

Mike-Roe > In the distants is the road and bridge that connects the insland to the mainland.

Mike-Roe > This is what we woke-up to the next day. The tide was out, a thick fog bank and rain.

Mike-Roe > It was astounding how much the tides came in and out.

Mike-Roe > LL Bean provides funds to support free bus service for the island. Here we are taking the bus to Bar Harbor on this wonderfull rainy day.

Mike-Roe > We are catching the bus back to camp and Roe is experimenting with the camera. Not bad for her 1st picture.

Mike-Roe > Here she takes a picture of her father.

Mike-Roe > This is a view looking down the street to the main shopping district.
