Roe's favorite Mets of all time - Jerry Koosman and David Wright.

Roe's current favorite Mets - it's easy to say Jacob DeGrom of Pete Alonso, but I like to go against the grain, so I'll say Brandon Nimmo. Though it probably is Jacob.

I am not going to mention anything about this year because we all know that my words, spoken or written, can change the outcome of the season. Let's just say I am cautiously optimistic. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜‰

P.S. I am listening to the Mets vs Braves on the radio as I write this. I would be watching it but I can't seem to stream MLB.com in Canada.

JETS

Days since the Jets won the Super Bowl - 19,573 (1/12/1969)

- The price of gas was $0.35 per gallon

- The average price of a gallon of milk in 1969 was $1.10; Eggs: 49ยข per dozen;

I have no recollection of this Super Bowl, so my fandom of the Jets is either deeply rooted or ready to change if they don't do something soon.

Way back during another life, I had season tickets to the Jets for 2 years.

I am not going to look it up but will take a leap of faith and say no one on the current Jets Rooster was born then. ๐Ÿ˜œ

    BUT .... interestingly Zach Wilson's mom wasn't even born yet!!!!!!

OK, this one is getting depressing, time to move on.

Devils

Days since the Devils won the Stanley Cup - 7,007 (6/9/2003)

I know most of you reading this are not hockey fans so I won't bore you with more facts. Just needed to add them so everyone knows just how bad my teams are doing.
